EP200 Negative ions air purifier
Negative ions are considered the “vitamin of the air”. Molecules usually carry a neutral charge; however, when molecules lose an electron, they become anions (negatively charged ions). Anions are relatively unstable, and will attract and trap any free electron pairs. As a result of this attraction, small air pollutants and dust molecules bind with anions, which become negatively charged and thus attracted to the ground, consequently being removed from the air and producing an air purifying effect.
The EP200 negative ion air purifier is compact in size, technologically advanced, and is capable of purifying air. It is suitable for use in places such as the bed room, living room, garage and storage etc. It generates a sine wave high voltage, which is applied to two stainless steel pins thus releases negative ions. These negative ions are relatively free from harmful NOx molecules, unlike the ions produced from using high voltage pulses. Because of the simple waveform used, the device gives minimal interference to nearby electrical appliances. This unit also generates a small amount of ozone which is well below the international health safety standard of 0.05ppm over 8 hours.
