According to acupressure knowledge in Chinese medicine, applying pressure on the NEIGUAN (P6) pressure point on the forearm can interrupt signals that trigger nausea. The science behind it is called acupressure treatment. It provides relief not only for motion related discomfort, such as car sickness and boat sickness, but also for pregnancy related nausea. Anti-Nausea Wrist Bands are free of drug, chemical and side-effect. They are easy to use and safe for people of all ages.
Instructions to the user
In order to obtain the best results, the anti-nausea bands should be used as follows:
1. They must be worn on both hands at the same time.
2. They should be worn at least 30 minutes before travel. Early pregnancy sickness can be lessened by wearing the bands all the time.
3. The magnetic pressure beads must be properly and correctly positioned on the Neiguan pressure point on both forearms. The location of the pressure point can be determined by either of the following methods:
a) With the palm facing upward, the Neiguan point is 50mm (2 inch) from the base of the palm and 25mm (1 inch) from the inner side of the forearm, next to the middle finger tendon (see diagram).
a) Place three center fingers next to the base of the palm (see diagram), and the Neiguan point is at the middle of the 2nd section of the forefinger.
There are powerful magnets inside the plastic beads to concentrate and improve the bands’ effectiveness. Do not place the bands near credit cards or data storage media with magnetic memory while not in use.
